OXI DAY COMMEMORATION - Importance of OXI Day in the Modern World
Join us on Saturday, October 28th for a truly unique event on Ellis Island as we celebrate our immigrant experience and commemorate the 77th anniversary of Greece’s resistance to NAZI tyranny If you haven’t visited Ellis Island recently, you will be overwhelmed by the rich history it embodies and the connections it solidifies with our forefathers. We have secured a special price which includes the ferry ride from Liberty State Park, and Battery Park, entrance to Ellis Island, special private reception, commemoration and lecture.
Events throughout the day include a Reception, Lectures and a Film. We also invite you to explore the Ellis Island Exhibits with an opportunity to find your ancestor's original manifest.
Tickets are 35.00 for all events and includes the ferry to Ellis Island.
